My name is Joel Rakes. I’m originally from Delaware (good luck finding it on the map), then Philly for a stint. Since 2009, happily in (East) Nashville.
I’ve been writing and playing music on and off since 2006. Put out a few records, played many shows, and had a lot of fun.
The last couple of years I’ve been hibernating musically, but I still come slumbering out of my cave a bit and create now and again.
